He has been on a music tour in Europe for about two months. James is currently living in Sweden after visiting Portugal, England, Cyprus and Italy. On September 6, James will be singing to the Swedish expatriates.
At a press conference organized on the occasion, he said that he wants to sing the song till the last day of his life. He also gave some important messages for the new generation of artists.
In the early eighties, James started his career as a guitarist and vocalist for the band Feelings in Chittagong. In 1987, the band's debut album 'Station Road' was released. Since then, the magic of music has captivated several generations. When the topic came up at the press conference, James's natural response was, "Whenever I stand on stage, I think everyone is already listening.
In the meantime, I didn't notice that the generation was changing. Now I think I can sing to a lot of different generations. ’
James said he didn't sing in the hope of getting anything. He sang only out of love, his passion and passion. His advice to the new generation of artists is the same: don't come to music with the expectation of getting something.
"There's no point in making music to get something," James said. You have to sing from passion, from intoxication. If someone makes music in the hope of getting something, I would say, stop it now. I don't think it's okay to make music to get something. You have to make music for your own peace. If something is achieved through this, it is a different matter. Even if I didn't get anything today, I would still be singing. ’
In the end, the rock star wants to live with the song.
"I don't have any plans for the future," James said. I want to sing, I want to sing to the end. Even if I go to the end and see that there is only one audience, I will sing for that too. ’
James' long tour of Europe will end with a concert in Sweden. Then he will fly to Australia. Rupam Islam of West Bengal's Fossils Band will perform on the same stage along with James at a special concert to be held in New South Wales on September 12.
